When I was craving a good Perry, a friend of mine talked about drinking it in Sweden and the crisp pear taste it had. As I found my previous Perry to be disappointing, I was hopeful this one, a polish made cider, would be an improvement

And oh boy was it

Gentle, crisp, and recognizably pear, this perry is a delight for the taste buds. It's not too strong, not overwhelming, but a refreshing drink that I always expected a perry to be. At times it can impart a light bitter taste but it's uncommon enough that it may go unnoticed. If anything, even more pear flavor could improve it but as is it's hard to complain

Samuel Smith's Organic Perry

I recently found myself with a craving for some perry and popped over to my local imports shop and got two different ones

The first of these, which I've had before, is Samuel Smith's Organic Perry

As far as ciders go it's quite good; crisp and refreshing, perhaps more sour than others though only lightly. However, any pear flavor is largely nonexistent. It's more or less just a standard cider with a slight pear if you believe hard enough. That said it is a good cider, just isn't what you'd want from a perry

2 towns cider house “sun’s out” peach saison

Smells and tastes peachy sweet and has a nice funk from the saison yeast. Not super complex but very pleasant. Deserves much stars
