Hi, Breanna! My name's Amanda 😊 Just curious what your favorite fall activity is, and if you have any favorite horror movies? The Shining will forever be my favorite! Favorite fall activity

Hmm, well, this is tough! I’m gonna go with watching movies. I’m all about being cozy. So, for example, using the long weekend to ring in September, my plans this weekend include:

pulling out and washing all my extra blankets

lighting a ton of apple candles

face masks every night

munching on cinnamon rolls and wine

stay in comfy pjs all weekend

watch all the autumn staples (hocus pocus, halloweentown, etc.)

Favorite horror movies

I have a love hate relationship with horror movies, honestly. I don’t like the gore movies where the whole point is to kill everyone in the weirdest way the writers could think of. I have seen a bunch of the classics. I like ghosts and hauntings. I don’t mind monsters. Psychological thrillers are good. But my favorite horror movie is probably Insidious. I liked the Paranormal Activity series a lot too. Haunting in Connecticut was pretty good.

I live alone, so I refused to watch Annabelle, but I really wanna see it. I’ll have to trick someone into watching it with me.

7. Do I enjoy the frigid weather because I can wear warm comfy clothes or because I just like the air at that cold temperature?

The latter.

I lived 13 years in a tropical country (but I lived really close to the Atlantic so there was a cool breeze that accompanied the all-year heat — it feels SO good on your skin at night, ahh I’m starting to get homesick now) and when I moved up here, the summers were way too humid for my liking. So naturally, I long for the cool/cold air.
