Start of Something|Childhood AU

Charming stomped his foot and pouted. There was no way he was going to get dressed up nice and go to another stupid fancy dinner. He hated wearing the stuffy outfits and sitting with even stuffier old nobles. He was expected to sit and be quiet and polite and listen to all their boring stories. He just wanted to play!

His parents came in to try and talk him out of his temper. They promised that he would like this dinner better. The Baron and Baroness they were inviting were going to be bringing their little girl. She was only 2 years younger than Charming, so they should have plenty to chat about while eating. This cheered Charming up some. At least he would have someone to go through the torture with. He finished getting ready and stood by his parents to await the arrival of their dinner guests. 

Many of the guests pulling up were the usual old and stuffy crowd. Charming was beginning to wonder if his parents had lied to him when a carriage pulled up and a man stepped out holding the hand of a little girl. Charming smiled. She was little and scared looking, with beautiful blonde hair and bright blue eyes that took everything in as she hid behind her father. Charming ran forward to go and say hello. 

He ran up to the man and peeked around at the little girl. "Hello there!" He said brightly. "What's your name?"

Mouse Trap | Terence and Cinderella

Terence had been sent to the Main Land, to a part where he'd never been before. 

He'd been flying around for what seemed like ages, trying to find the group of fairies he'd been sent to help and resupply with dust. It was starting to get dark, and he needed a rest. Unfamiliar with the surroundings, Terence decided to find a building to rest in. 

Spotting a rather large building, he headed for it. As he flew over the walls and gardens, he could see many human sparrowmen guarding entrances. 

For a few minutes, he flew around, looking for an open window. When he found one, he quickly, and quietly flew in. Everything in the room was vastly larger than he was, and seemed rather complicated to maneuver around.

Landing on the floor, Terence began to wander about. When he came face to face with a large teddy bear, the blonde fairy backed up. He was scared. Backing up too far, Terence felt metal against his back and wings. As he went to move forward again, his path was blocked by more metal.

Now he was trapped.
