After departing from the war council, Orion came upon a very distressed little girl. Crying and wailing, he took pity on the little one and decided to find out what was wrong, after all, there was more to being a knight than just slashing down enemies in a battlefield.
As it turned out, a particularly dear toy of hers had gotten stuck in one of the branches of a tree after being thrown there by some boys. A simple enough task, really. Effortlessly, he swung from branch to branch, scaling the large tree until he came upon the aforementioned toy; quite the charming stuffed rabbit it was. However without further ado, Orion tossed it down into the little girl’s arms. Smiling and waving rapidly, she skipped away with toy in hand, but as he went to wave back the knight lost his balance and came crashing down through the thorns and brier.
If only that had been the end of his misfortune, he would have recovered and shaken it off without a second thought, however the sheath of his sword had gotten caught on one of the branches and had left him stranded and dangling.
Naturally, with blood dripping down an upside down teenager who was screaming and crying, many people simply averted their eyes and walked away. A childish and unwarranted reaction perhaps, but how could they just go about their day without lifting a finger to help! Though not shown (as it was hidden beneath the blood and tears of the boy), relief washed over Orion as a familiar face revealed itself to him.
“Ling! Liiiiiiing! Get me down from here! LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!”
