The circle
When you close your eyes & feel into the space of yourself you may find that your borders become diffuse & you can’t really find a line between you inside & everything else. You may say it feels vast or circle-like.
This circle-like space is the all-encompassing embrace of the Mother womb of all-pervasive consciousness.
When you open your eyes, sense perceptions may create the idea of a you inside & a world outside, but with time you may find that you can look at the world with eyes open with the all-inclusive & panoramic eyes of consciousness.
This is to be the Great Mother, that wholly embraces the other. This teaching is forward facing. Here, the me inside prostrates itself to what appears in front as the worldly. Subject to yourself, you merge with All.
Contemplating the circle & working with circles as boundaries or as the wheel of the year can gradually teach you about the workings of creation & the flow of appearances, always viewed from the center of you.
The circle may apply to levels of reality— from our mythologies, our world stories to the way our psyches operate within our life context.
The exploration & discovery of the meanings of the circle becomes a way of everyday life for us, & changes how we view things & make sense of what is occurring as the present moment.
We may notice correspondences between us ‘in here’ & the world ‘out there’. Omens, signs & synchronicity’s enter our experience confirming that there is an invisible bridge between us & the world. The world is magically re-enchanted as All-aliveness & conscious around us.
Presence becomes our companion. The winds bring us messages & forewarnings about what is coming down the path. It is a practice of attention & watching, carefully, that how we think about things, spell out our perception of the world.
