So anyway random thought about tagteam (ao3/tumblr)

I get the vibes that tumblr is the stay at home paret, constantly taking care of the beloved horde of children (chronically online users aka us) while the wife is out to work/busy with smart working/ up in the study writing her books.

Or maybe, they're both working.

Tumblr always in smartworking and taking calls but nevertheless keeping an eye on the kids and loving every minute of taking care of them, their every laugh and joke and sketch. Tumblr's boss can be a bit of a problem at times and make them do things that upset the children, but the bond stays strong and constant and loud and alove.

And ao3? She's the quiet looking mom who is actually an adrenaline junkie and loves to travel and brings back lots of gifts to the kids any time she can. She's more quiet than her lover, not as obviously loud and outspoken. One needs to actually go up to her to catch her attention, but once one of the kids asks for something? She will act swiftly and give them things beyond their wildest immagination.

The neighbours like to make fun of the family, joking that tumblr is dead or that ao3 is not userfriently for not having an algorythm and other such nonsense, but the family is happy.

Tumbkr and ao3. They're different, but the children love both dearly.

We love them both dearly.

We love the chaotic hellsite, with the art and stories and memes and moots. We love the secret follower count and privacy of being unknown in the crowd.

We love the Infinite library, with stories of wonders from all over the world and arts and writers from far away working together to create something. We love the filters and being in charge of what we consume.

Mama ao3 has a lot of chronic pains and sometimes the illness flares up and must go away, and at times Papa tumblr gets surprise orders from their boss that can't be refused and scare the children, but they're together.

They're together and happy.

That's all that matters.

Playing Epona's Song on three out of five ocarinas i own✨

In order:

smallest first (in two pieces because It Was Not Cooperating. It was the first i bought, but High pitches get funky & completly different finger positioning💀)

middle second (second I got, most practiced, and can actually hold in my hands for long periods of time)

Biggest last (Just bought in September, alongside the remaining two, but the pitch was so pure and the tonality so different I actually practiced on It some. It'Heavy)
