sorry but, "he frowned at the scales that seemed to be falling off, his skin red beneath." this confused me, if yuu's blood is blue, why would his skin be red? i feel like it makes more sense if it was gray. sorry idk why this confuses me so much
Goodness no don’t be sorry for that. I had the same thought and I was the one who wrote it ahah. If anything it would be more purple-ish rather than grayish. Though I was going more a more irritated skin type thing, you know? Like when you get scratched and stuff? The ropes were burning his wrists so it wasn’t much about the blood. I might go back in and change it but I think it still works- UHm, sorry if I just confused you more ^^;;
