Once more || Jongdae & Kai
The music seemed to shake the air around Kai as he sat near one of the speakers, downing his third beer of the night. His eyes wandered the crowd of people, spotting a few figures he knew but didn't want to bother talking to; he was simply enjoying being out of his cabin. The night warm enough to warrant shorts, he'd left on his fire-proof pair after waking a few hours before.
Sun in the middle of setting, the man stood and stretched, forced to take a step forward as he lost his balance on the dry sand. With a snort, he picked up the beer bottles he'd emptied and walked over to nearby trash bin, tossing them aside without a care. The noise of the music covered the clanking easily, as he knew it would. After years of working in a club, he'd mastered the art of drinking without getting drunk, and talking loud enough only to be heard by a single person. Using the later skill he ordered a burger from some poor soul who'd been put on bbq duty.
With a nod of half thanks to the chef he moved towards the bonfire, wolfing down the food quickly and tossing the wrapping into a can as he passed it. Leaning against a tall rock as he watched the flames, he 'turned off' - standing with his usual blank expression as he tuned out everything but the music and the flames.
