what the hell? :: yonghwa & jiyong
Practice time. Yes, he is finally actually going to go and try to stabilize his ability. The chances of him actually coming to a breakthrough were slim, but if he didn’t try, he’d never know. So he packed up his things, attempted to eat breakfast, and treaded along the path until there wasn’t one anymore. The day was hot, and rather humid. He had a water bottle in his hand and three more in a plastic bag. He didn’t have a backpack or anything of the sort. It wasn’t like he was hiking. Plus, this island was only a temporary home. The best he could do was keep his own cottage neat, although that didn’t really work out so well for him. With an ability like his, it was hard to keep things tidy. So, most of his ‘cleaning’ was dedicated to his own room. The rest of his little cottage wasn’t nearly as flattering, but it wasn’t like many people came and went from there anyway.
The shade the forest provided was nice, but it didn’t completely save him from the dreadful humidity that seemed to poison the air. It was too hot to wear a hood, so he decided on covering his pink hair with a black fitted baseball cap. The rest of his attire was very simple. He had a loose white shirt with cut off sleeves, exposing the tattoos he had on his arms and parts of the ones on his sides, and regular jean shorts with sneakers.
He was walking deeper into the forest than he had to, but he wanted to make sure no one found him. He wasn’t all that lucky with avoiding people, though. He was only glad he could get some people to realize that he wasn’t just destroying whatever he touched for the hell of it. It happened a few times, so now he was cautious. He could only imagine what they were thinking as they looked over at him burning through pieces of wood with a blank expression on his face. The people of the circus were definitely more understanding than the people in his past ‘job’. Back then, he didn’t practice a lot for that reason. Probably if he did, he would have gotten somewhere by now.
Different shades of green were everywhere, but he was more focused on the ground. He made a little game in his mind, to not step on the sticks. So with a bit of extra effort, he stepped over each stick he saw. It was subtle, but it was something to cure his boredom until he got to a comfortable spot to start up practice. He worried about what would come of it though, and if he’d run out of water before he was done. It wouldn’t be the first time that he had to make his way through a place attempting desperately not to burn anyone or anything in the process. Usually, the ground got the worst of it. If not the ground, then definitely whatever he was wearing.
