Periodically I think I'll write a Things About The Primarchs post but then I realize I only have opinions on like 3 primarchs.

Anyway, gender identities for the Primarchs I have opinions about.

Lorgar: Priest. Yes, this is a gender identity.

Perturabo: Made a promise to both Dammekos and later the Emperor to be their son (and therefore, a man) and has hated every. Single. Minute of it. Dreamed once of being a daughter but in the end, finds a tenuous peace in existence as a monster of metal and weaponry.

Horus: Male, specifically a bro. The Vengeful Spirit is one giant locker room.

gender bending is gross and assumes every character is cis and that gender equates solely on secondary sex characteristics like hair length and bust and honestly I don't see why it's even an argument against trans people being uncomfortable and cis ppl wanting to see tiddies on their cis-headcanoned manly man

If anything encourages me about this current fandom discourse, it's that I'm not the only one pointing out that cis isn't actually "canon" but just an assumption. That's the thing that needs to be stated the most right now.

Anyway I have a new tag, “cis headcanons”. Because it’s never pointed out that’s usually all they are, whereas trans interpretations are walked through hell and back to be “justified”.

Junpei Iori is heterosexual and heteroromantic and cis but he’s open to dating/hookups/encounters with genders he’s not attracted to. He’s not attracted to those genders, not attracted to dudes at all, straightest dude ever, but attraction means attraction and while it can influence or play a large part in what genders u do romo things or sex things with, what genders u do thing with is not same as gender u r attracted 2. That being said there rnt rlly any people of genders he’s not attracted to that he feels inclined 2 do thing w, but he’s open to it.

Junpei is also a Very Nice cishet even if he is Annoying and needs 2 close his mouth more often.

It's okay to make cisgender and hetero headcanons. It's not okay to bash others for having gender/sexuality/romantic headcanons that are not cis/het.
