You know, when it comes to fan tropes I kinda get why people make Six out to be an angry gremlin, or Mono being "too pure for the world" and whatnot... but where the hell did the "RK is an absolute wuss/is always anxious" trope come from???

Like.... have y'all seen what RK can do?? Mans killed a wholeass evil sea monster grandma, outsmarted the Janitor twice, fell from like... 60ft off the ground (idfk), nearly broke his back, commanded an army of nomes, killed evil shadow demons??

My boy is a tough nut and I'm tired of people pretending he isn't!

MAJOR LITTLE NIGHTMARES 2 SPOILERS:

Random but, man oh man Mono vs Thin Man is my favorite part of Little Nightmares 2, not just cuz it's badass as hell but the symbolism behind it.

Mono is used to constantly having to run and hide from the enemy, but the Thin Man was someone he'd never encountered before. The Thin Man knew his every move and was always right on Mono's tail.

Even when Mono thought he could escape by riding the train, he climbed up the ladder only to realize that the Thin Man was still around waiting for him, refusing to give up.

Mono falls to his knees in sadness and exhaustion for a brief second, as he realizes that there really is no way he can escape the Thin Man.

Then he takes off his BAG. To most people, it doesn't really mean much but when you know the reason why he wears the bag, it hits harder. Mono covers his face with items/hats because it gives him closure, a small feeling of peace in a world full of death and chaos. He wears it as a form of protection, to make him forget that everything and everyone in the world hates him and wants him dead. Even though his bag offers him said protection, it's also a symbol of fear.

Mono taking off the bag was him telling himself that he wasn't scared anymore, that he couldn't afford to be scared.

He realizes that the only thing he can do is fight. For the first time in his life he's actually going to fight back against an enemy that's three times his size, and not only does he fight back, he also WINS.

After he wins, he remembers his original goal to find Six. He musters all the power he has and bends the city to his will, bringing it closer to him. He's tired of running, from this point on, he's going to fight to get what he wants.

This entire sequence is just... epic.

Top 10 most emotional scenes in little nightmares 1 & 2 (to me)

10. Six meeting Mono for the first time and second time:

Mono seeing Six get captured by the hunter led him to go rescue her, which further led to him giving her a friendly/warm greeting....cutest shit ever man. Plus, THE SOUNDTRACK?? Togetherness I (from the game) and True Colors (from the comic). BEAUTIFUL.

9. Mono saves Six from the bullies:

Mono softly calling to her again, and reassuring her that everything was fine, with Six finally trusting him?? Plus the beautiful soundtrack that plays in the background? Absolutely heartwarming,

8. Mono and Six after getting caught in falling debris:

After yet another near-death experience, the two take a moment to process everything while looking at each other for comfort ;-;

7. Mono getting injured on the train:

This part nearly broke me. This poor kid went through so much pain, and despite all this, he kept pushing forward and stopped at nothing to save Six.

5. Mono turning into the Thin Man:

Seeing Mono sadly sit down on that chair was so agonizing. Even though we couldn't see his face it's pretty clear that he was so heartbroken by Six's betrayal.

4. RK gets turned into a nome:

I don't think there was anything more horrible than seeing RK go through so much only to have the worst outcome. And worst of all, he completely gave up afterward, there was nothing left for him to do.

3. RK and the nomes:

seeing all the nomes gather around the furnace, watching their shadows take the form of children, not only is the foreshadowing here amazing but it's also sad. RK being completely unaware of his outcome, and we the players finding out that the Nomes are all just lost kids who tried to escape. And again, THE SOUNDTRACK.

2. RK getting eaten:

That painful feeling when you realize that RK was the Nome who was eaten, the way his story ended was too heartbreaking. Watching someone go through so much only to die in an act of kindness is too heart wrenching man

1. Mono falling/Six’s betrayal:

Lets be honest, is there really anything that can top THIS?? This was the defining moment that broke the entire fandom lol.

Honorable mentions: Six getting her raincoat! I hit the image limit so I can’t put the picture in, but it was nice to see Six get her true colors back.

Six: *warms herself by the fire after you kill the doctor*

Most LN fans: Yo, Six you are so messed up! She's psychotic! How dare she??

Funny how a lot of people forget that pure baby Mono is the one that pulls the lever not Six. She only helps Mono escape the incinerator but she didn't actually kill the doctor. It was Mono.

Plus it was also Mono who grabbed the gun when they were cornered by the Hunter, Six was trying to hold the door.

I'm the biggest Mono stan, but even I know that my boi ain't all that much of a saint either lol.

Thin Man Theories and Spoilers

Sometimes I honestly think that The Thin Man truly is an evil person who wanted Mono to take his place and not the nice old, depressed dude who tried to save his younger self.

If we're assuming that all the loops are the same, and he only becomes the Thin Man because Six drops him, then surely there was another way to fix things than bring Six all the way to the Signal Tower which caused her to drop Mono in the first place.

If he wanted to save himself from Six, why didn't he just take Mono away? Or, why couldn't he have just used his powers to destroy the signal tower to stop Mono from ever going there? That's assuming that the signal tower is capable of being destroyed anyway.

His website description says that he was "endlessly searching for something". He also kidnapped Toddler too, maybe he was looking for a suitable heir??

Also, I find it very interesting that the website description says Thin Man had been searching for something AND he was able to travel through a TV and kidnap Toddler kid before he met Mono. Perhaps he's able to travel through TV's in the world for a limited amount of time before returning to the tower? I talk about it here too.

I know the time loop theory is the general theory that the fandom has dubbed to be canon but hear me out... what if the Thin Man really just captured Six to use her as bait to lure Mono in to take his place?

Mono's destination was the tower anyway, we don't exactly know what he was going to do but we do know that one way or another, he would come across the Thin Man. Even if he didn't meet Six, something probably would've happened to trap him in the tower.

Who's to say that The Thin Man even reset time anyway? Who's to say that there was a Six in the Thin Man's past? What if Mono isn't his past self? He could just be a kid born with psychic powers.

When Mono became the Thin Man, who's to say that there won't be a different kid that'll soon take his place?

Something about The Lady having a relatively normal, and slightly realistic face makes her more creepy than most of the characters in the game.

Spoilers for LN1 DLC ending:

This is probably me over-analyzing but during the post-credits scene of the Runaway Kid's story, we see The Thin Man for a brief second on a TV in the maw.

Since it's confirmed that Little Nightmares 2 is indeed a prequel, that means the Thin Man that we fight is still DEAD, and that the Thin Man we see here is probably Mono and he's restarted the cycle in a search to find Six. If that is Mono there's a high chance that time passes differently in the tower and he had already become the Thin Man while Six hasn't aged much.

And of course, this could also just be a teaser for Litte Nightmares 2 XD
