Netflix quietly put up the last season of House of Cards today, it’s only 8 episodes unlike past seasons. They didn’t even mention it in the frequent emails they send to let people know what shows are coming/what shows are currently on the site. I found out about it while reading a blog. So if you want to watch House of Cards last season, it’s on Netflix now.

I will never forget...
...Clair for poisoning Tom Yates. That black widow, ruthless streak in her makes her the kind of brilliant villain that you love to hate. But not at a cost of ending a vulnerable story line in the plot to come to end. Tom's role softened the harsh reality of partisan, power grabbing WH politics Clair was knee deep in. In my view, Tom could have stayed around, at least till end of S5, w/o any impact. While Robin n Kevin's acting is w/o a doubt superb, their character development is questionable. Their continued ascension to power was not only unrealistic, it got a little tiring, tbh! There has to be some reckoning of past injustices. No president, no matter how astute a politician, can continue like this. For example, the plot could be abt fighting to stay out of jail as opposed fighting to stay in power. Not sure if another 4 years of Clair in office is worth another season.
