what are your top 5 moments in hxh?

OHHH this is so hard because i’m sure i’m forgetting some!

1) LEORIO PUNCHING GING IN THE FACE

2) gon pointing out that leorio wants to be a doctor and ruining the chairman election

3) chrollo telling hisoka his nen has been sealed

4) killua saving knuckle from certain death (i really thought knuckle was going to die)

5) this might be a strange pick for a “top moment” in the series but at the beginning of the hunter exam when gon and killua first meet and that monster tries to eat them but spits them out because of tonpa’s poison is actually one of my favorites just because it was the first “oh shit that’s good writing” moment for me and actually what convinced me that hxh was special

also special honors for gon’s fight with genthru because that was so damn good, especially the boulder bit

i wanna know other people’s favorite moments!! please tell me!!

sorry for all the questions, I just love your take on things lol. another thing that's been bothering me for ages...what's up with Killua and Gon's little staredown in the alley in episode 147? "This is no good. If we stay here any longer..." I've never gotten a definitive answer, no matter how many times I watch/read it

Personally I thought they meant that if they stayed where they were, they’d have even more trouble to part ways, but the sad truth is, we just don’t know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So I don't know if you've already talked about this in some form, but here it goes. After reading some of your points, I can finally understand why I felt so...off...about Killua and Gon after/during the CA arc. But the way you described it kinda made me feel a little hopeless, for lack of a better term. I always thought of them as some of the best friends in anime, but now I feel like everything is a lie. What is your opinion on where they both stand after Gon is healed?

Ooooh, noooooo, you don’t have to feel like that! The friendship between Gon and Killua is most definitely not a lie and they both very very obviously care a lot about each other!

I have, in fact, written my thoughts on Gon and Killua’s parting, at length. On a reread and after … almost 2 years … I still stand by them. I’ll reblog in it a bit because I’m vain and I’m still incredible proud of it. But the bottom line is this: I approve of their separation and I think it’s the best thing they could’ve done for their friendship.

What foundation do you use?

I use liquid, then on top I use power. The liquid base I use is Covergirl Tru Blend in ivory, then I use Covergirl Professional Loose Powder in Translucent Fair (I’m so pale omg) then to top it all off I use Mineral Veil from bare essentials! :)
