like yeah i know jrpgs tend to have anime tropes in their games a lot that can make someone question it and yeahh i remember someone telling me “every jrpg is weird thats why i never play them” and like yeah they can be weird if you play the weird ones but ive only felt off about one jrpg in my life personally but thats also not taking into account the weird western rpgs thats made

like just bc its japanese doesnt make it bad or fucking weird. 

like i feel that people dont put a double standard on western games. like there can be an uncomfortable joke but that could also happen in any rpg as well. nothings exclusive bc “oh its just japan being japan”

one of my favorite things tho is everyone literally forgetting final fantasy is a jrpg tho. @game informer
