BTW, this is where ALL my warrior cats (and cats) ocs live. i realise i do a lot of drawing and planning that never ends up being posted (perfectionism, anxiety, paranoia, and feeling the need to complete a project before showing it is a bitch LMAO) and i don’t want to squirrel away my artwork anymore!! I WANT PEOPLE TO SEE, EVEN IF ITS UNFINISHED!! even if I change my mind, even when i make mistakes!! heheheh

What is this blog all about?

Clanborne is an interactive story I plan on running for fun. It's community driven, which means it hinges heavily on suggestions and interaction. I'll be handling the story, and you guys will be in control of our main character.

How does this story work?

In short, a little bit like if you loosely and crudely combined Homestuck, d&d, and 'choose your own' adventures.

There will be a main character/POV, and it's your job to suggest what they should do. It's my job to roll with the (most popular) prompts, and make sure all the characters stay in character.

For example:

I post a picture of the POV character in a tree. Let's say they have the personality traits Ambitious and Prideful. The description of the post says "While chasing down the fattest, juiciest lookin pigeon you've ever seen, you thought it was an excellent idea to climb way above the height limit [mentor] taught you to climb. All you have to show for it is a couple of feathers and the tiniest little shred of dignity."

You guys comment prompts for the POV character. These prompts (in most cases ;3 ) manifest as thoughts in their little kitty brain. The comment with the most likes wins, and advances the story!

Say the prompt is to 'call for help'. POV is prideful, so I'd imagine it'd be deeply embarrassing to do so. In this situation, I'd probably have them hesitate or wait until absolutely necessary. Maybe they'd leave it too late and have to surrender their pride, wailing like a kit until they're found. Maybe they avoid trees for a good while after that. Who knows!!

Before I join in, what are the rules?

The Rules Of Play are as follows:

- The prompt with the most likes will advance the story. Only one prompt will be chosen per post.

- I will only be looking at prompts on the most recent story post.

- You can send more than one prompt, but please don't spam!

- To timeskip (Limiting this to at most 1 moon at a time because this is ClanGen based), send a prompt along the lines of 'Next moon', 'Next day', 'Advance to Gathering', etc. This will advance the story if it's the most liked prompt, ofc.

- To switch character/pov, send a prompt along the lines of 'Switch character.' if y'all don't specify, I'll take my pick on who to switch to lmao. Again, this needs to be the most liked prompt to advance the story.

- I will not always follow the winning prompt exactly!! I'm not letting a baby kitty lift up a tree or anything like that (no matter how funny that would be lmao). Please keep in mind that I can take my creative liberty with this. It's my story too!! :3c

- You're allowed to send prompts like you're a Starclan warrior, a spirit, an evil dark forest warrior, etc. You're allowed to be evil and send evil prompts!! Send them dreams, send them nightmares, go wild!! I might not listen, and the POV might not know that it's an outside influence, but feel free to do it anyway lmao.

- That being said, no NSFW themed prompts. Cartoon violence/Warriors violence is okay, but no excessive gore or other nsfw themes. I will be deleting any posts I see that contain inappropriate themes, and repeat offenders will be banned.

- Be nice to me and one another, and have fun!! The bottom line is to simply enjoy the journey.
