Post- Accutane 7 Months

Hey Guys! Wanted to share an update on my skin after being off of Accutane (Claravis) for almost 7 months.

My skin is a bit red because I just got out of the shower. As you can see, i def. have some scarring, but I am happy to say that I dont have any active breakouts right now. My skin is definitely getting oily again (which sucks a lot) but ive been trying to maintain it.

I picked up this Shea Moisture toner randomly about two weeks ago and I am obsessed with it.

I wanted a toner because my pores were getting bigger and I wanted something to tighten them a bit. This stuff does not dry my skin out, is super gentle, smells good (like tea tree oil, but diluted), and just feels so good. I spray some on a cotton ball and wipe it on my tzone (my tzone is the most oily, my cheeks are on the normal side).

I also noticed that any small pimples i would get have gone away a lot quicker using this. I definitely recommend this product if you want a GENTLE toner that wont dry out your face. I moosturizee after using this as well.

okay y’all. I think i’m losing my mind here and I need some advice. I’m taking Doryx right now along with aczone in the morning and veltin every other night. Just at work today I got 3 more pimples on my chin 😩 I feel so so defeated. I feel like i’m overreacting, but I also feel like my chin has not improved at all. I was supposed to wait 2 months to go back to the derm and it’s been almost a month and so scheduled another appointment. I think I want to do accutane again. I can’t even think about my face getting as bad as it was before. I am terrified it will get that bad again.

It is highly crucial to take care of your lips. Not dry? Great! Give it 2-4 days, and you’ll know what I am talking about. Stack up on lip balms! The ones I recommend are Aquaphor, Blistex Lip Medex, and please be sure to exfoliate using Lush Lip Scrub. It’s always a good idea to experiment when it comes to finding what may be best for you. Now that we got lips crossed out the list, next up is keeping that lovely face moisturized and hydrated, along with your scalp! Stay tuned!
