(1) Thank you for putting all of my thoughts and feelings into such a coherent post. When s03 began, I saw Isak worrying about the future that he couldn't really enjoy the present but then this life-changing boy happens to him and he just calms down. Like you said, time slowed down. He appreciates every minute of Even being happy. He knows it can change so suddenly BUT, and I think this is important, Isak doesn't keep on waiting for it to happen because that will take the joy out of his now.
(2) He's prepared for it as he can be, he'll know when it does happen, but in the meantime he's living in the now with Even. Very happily. They're so in love it's ridiculous. It's one of the reasons why I think they'll last a long, long, long time. I still find the parallel universe idea so romantic and would like to see them use it as a sweet couple joke but only just that. A romantic gesture from both, not as an essential theme in their relationship.
Aaaaah, that’s okay! AND ALL of what you say here is SO true! Like, Isak said himself to Even,
“An atom bomb could fall on us tomorrow, and then, thinking about the future would just be a waste of time, so I suggest you stop thinking about the future and that now, we chill.”
That’s literally the biggest thing Isak learnt this series, with regards to himself and himself AND Even. And if that’s the lesson he learnt from this, then, that’s a very important one that Skam showed us.
