Hi there :) just wanted to give a general introduction and overview of what this blog is and why i am making it :)
This blog is going to deal with archaeology and archaeological ethics - I will try to write a few small ( or long when i feel like it ) posts concerning various topics concerning the field of archaeology and the preservation and presentation of cultural heritage.
Why would I make a VERY specific blog like this? If you guessed SCHOOL! or CLASS! you’d be right on the money!
This semester , I am taking a course concerning archaeological ethics ! How is this relevant? one of the assignments we must complete for my course is to create an online blog and to voice our opinions about the topics we cover in class and that we research or hear about ourselves in a journal or blog. Tumblr was an option and i jumped on that option like a cat on catnip!
Hopefully these little articles i am planning on writing will be interesting for anyone interested in this sort of thing to read :) please feel free to comment or correct me if i mess up or misrepresent any facts :)
