Why our childhood stories and home lives matter in the classroom
We’ll use this activity in class to get us thinking about place, which will be a #bigidea for us this unit. This will help us to write our Personal Narrative projects, one of our major assignments for the quarter.
When the principal tries to join in on class activities with students
They’re like:
THIS CHAPTER IS A BLESSED CHAPTER IT CLEANSED MY SOUL AND DRAGGED ME OUT OF THE GRAVE
Interrupting the Signal- through human interaction by interrupting activites unexpectedly, leaving individuals confused and shocked - throwing them off guard
Group activity in which we had to make an intervention + a wearable art so we focused the theme around alcoholism and how other people see them, we made a mask with beer bottle caps and staged an intervention where one of our group memebers came in and we all sat there, like at an AA meeting, but where he doesn’t know until he walks in and starts realising, his improv skills were A+.

Week One:
Another class activity we did in our first lesson was to transform an object into something else completely different. In the aid of two of my classmates Gina and Emily, we transformed ourselves into a shelving unit:
Gina mentioned how the body was something that could be transformed, which really gave me a different perspective to how art is able to express ideas, not just as a projection onto paper, but also viewing ourselves as a potential embodiment of the art itself.
