Dom 101

ASSIGNMENT: DOM 101

Create a meme/picture collage depicting your time at this school. Collages should be at least 8 pictures and have a few sentences explaining them at the bottom. Pictures should depict your physical and emotional experiences since you’ve arrived.

Anger/Resentment

I suppose this is the hardest for me to mention, but arriving at school was difficult for me altogether. I dropped out of the University shortly before arriving, and I’ve been building myself up since then, but there was definitely a level of anger and resentment about having to come here after what I felt was the bottom. It’s a ladder and I’m getting up there, albeit, slowly. 

Loneliness

Because of how I’ve been and how I tend to be around people, it’s not the easiest way to make friends. I’ve come closer to a few, but it’s not a real friendship, I don’t believe. At least, not yet.

Loss

There’s the lingering effects of the loss I experienced, but after talking to a few, I’m not the only one with the experience. It’s a nice sense of camaraderie, in that sense, and it’s helped bring me out of my despair because of it.

Gym/Muscles

I work out in the gym daily to build my strength and stay healthy. I’ve met a few other students and it’s nice having workout buddies to talk to while I’m doing it. I realize it’s not why we’re here, and yet, it’s all part of the experience.

Sex

I think in an Academy like this, the sex is inevitable, so I figured… why not mention it? I haven’t scened much, but then again, maybe I’m not meant to be that type of Dominant. 

Classes

Learning is always something I’ve enjoyed and while the classes are informative, I’d rather not talk about myself while doing it. I wish there weren't the necessary guidance assignments. I prefer to keep my thoughts to myself. 

Wine/Beer

Since earning the points to go into town, I’ve found a couple I’ve gone with. I’m not the best at being social, but it’s nice to get away from campus for a little bit.

Halloween

This was the first school event I actually took part in, and while mandatory, I found that I really enjoyed letting go and relaxing, for once. I dressed as Bob Ross and while I had to jump into the lake afterwards, it was a nice socialization exercise, away from the focus of marks that we generally have to encounter.
