Experience the unique flavors of Australia with this Aussie burger featuring juicy beef patties, grilled pineapple, slices of beetroot, and all the classic fixings. It's a delicious twist on a classic burger.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 burger buns. 4 pineapple rings. 4 slices of cooked beetroot. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 slices of tomato. 4 slices of red onion. 4 slices of bacon. Ketchup and mayonnaise for sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form it into 4 patties. Grill the burger patties to your desired level of doneness, typically 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. During the last minute of grilling, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt. While the burgers are cooking, grill the pineapple rings until they have grill marks, about 1-2 minutes per side. Toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1 minute until they are lightly browned. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese. Top the patty with a slice of bacon, a pineapple ring, a slice of tomato, a slice of red onion, and a slice of cooked beetroot. Add ketchup and mayonnaise to the top bun, then place it on top of the assembled ingredients. Serve your Aussie burger with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
