Clawreecorns (pronounced klɑ-rɪ-kɔrn) are a fantasorian-native mammalian species similar to, but not related to wildcats and other felines. They originated from the Four Primordial Clawreecorns (essentially demi-gods) manifesting in Fantasoria.

On average, an adult’s height is around 2-2½ ft (60-90 cm) not including the horn, which can reach up to a foot (30 cm) in length. The tail is relatively short, but concealed under (usually) long mane hair, which is also on the head, and sometimes the neck, chest, or limbs.

Text and arrows point out the differences: "Round pupils, Slightly larger nose, (average) shorter body fur, Mane/Hair, Ears on side, Very thin (barely visible) whiskers, Longer upper canines". The bottom shows the difference in tails, and an illustration of the paws.]
Clawreecorns also possess retractable claws and long fang-like canines (longer than a house cat’s) but their whiskers are much less significant than a cat’s. Their ears on the sides of their heads as opposed to near the top. While facial features are similar to a cat, there are several slight differences.
The horn is made of keratin and is smooth and curves slightly backwards, as opposed to most depictions of unicorns with spiral, straight horns. Horn length is usually a good measure of age, as horn growth slows (but doesn’t entirely stop) at adulthood. Horns act as a magical conduit, as magical energy has to flow through one’s body before settling on a focus point (usually the paw or tail for non-clawreecorns).

Clawreecorns coats come in all hues, but never black, white, or gray (unless painted/dyed). Their coat is usually but not always a light pastel color. A clawreecorn’s horn can also be any color excluding black/white/gray, but it HAS to contrast the coat color (cannot be the same color/hue as the coat). Even if a clawreecorn is albino or melanistic, their coat and horn will have a distinct color. A clawreecorn’s hair and tail have no color caveats, and can even be black, white, or gray. Coat patterns are slightly uncommon but possible, and horn markings/patterns are impossible, excluding scars or paint.
Hair can be two-tone, have gradients, or even be rainbow. The only thing the hair cannot have are thin, light colored stripes, as those are the mark of divinity (see the Primordial Clawreecorns to see what I mean).
