As I teased earlier in the week, it’s now time for some Reigning Passions side characters love! I think this series has the first (and possibly only) side characters I’ll be making, but because I really love them and want to display all their cool outfits in all their glory! Starting with miss autumn spy princess herself- Ruelle!

 Making Ruelle’s outfit was one of the most challenging since it was difficult to get the strips of “fabric” just right... but with only a few colors for her outfit, that definitely saved me some time! (I think Piama and Lyris with all their colors still take the top as the longest and most detailed figures I’ve ever made)

I would have liked to have her hood be a bit thicker and cover more of the front, but I honestly was running out of that color and just had to make due. At least this way, we can see more of her face and hair so it’s not a total loss!

Happy WIP Wednesday! (No your eyes aren’t fooling you- the picture is purposefully blurry)

Finally had a little bit of time to finish up these pieces and hopefully I’ll be able to show them soon! For now, here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming up and what I’ve been working on... can you guess who they are? 🙈

I’ve been trying to make more detailed figures and it was definitely daunting to start with the Reigning Passions characters since they all have such detailed outfits, but that’s precisely why I wanted to make more detailed figures in the first place- to do these outfits justice! 

I’m so so thrilled with how they turned out and I’m excited to get to finally show them soon!

Clay Creatures: Dibble

This is one of the many clay figures that I have created over the span of 2 1/2 years. I was inspired to make Dibble when looking at a pair of dice stacked on top of one another.
