I havent yapped about the cambridge latin course enough so here’s a good yap. On stage 26 “tribunus” with students for reference
1. I have one class that’s absolutely OBSESSED with the astrologer from stage 19-20. Like had a student write 18 pages of fic about the astrologer’s background lore (not canon) and read it out to the class. Do you KNOW how difficult it is to get a class of 13 year olds to listen for 18 pages of reading????? (They’re also specifically obsessed with the actor for the astrologer on the CLC web portal because he has such a stellar performance in one of the skit videos)
2. The cogi assassination plot is. So. Fucking. Good!!!!! So much drama!!! So much character analysis and excellent characterization!!! And then it all ties together meeting rufus in “tribunus”
You really cannot skip a single story in this book and teaching it is such a treat
