I saw your most recent ask about using the word queer, i really like your answer! i personally use queer when I refer to LGBT+ people, in conversation with people I know, and sometimes on here, but I don't think it should be the term used in outreach or professional settings. What do you think of the acronym MOGII thats starting to be used? it stands for Marginalized Orientations, Gender Identity, and Intersex.

I like the concept of MOGII but I heard that it’s been used to include kinksters and people like that in the LGBT community as “marginalized” (or is that MOGAI?  Are they the same term?).  I don’t support that, but I do support more inclusive terms for the LGBT community, since there are some many different identities that we can’t possibly put them all in an acronym.

I do need more sources on the MOGII/kinksters thing, but I have seen some people on my dash talk about how they’re uncomfortable with it, especially some trans women.  I’d need to learn more about the term before I start using it, though.
