“You’re like a rooster to a flock of hens… Er, sorry for the weird comparison. I will go now and I will tell them to contact you. You will get to make your status report, I promise, doctor!” and with that Cain scurried off before Caym woke up.
“Oh I figured, every once in a while you might need a refresher.” he hummed looking amused when the little bird settled down for another nap on Cain’s shoulder like a good little guy.
“He does seem pretty docile…odd when not a hour before the little fuck was swarming around and trying to kill him. Now the bird was practically CUTE.
“That’s your style - you always keep your troops updated, huh?” Cain grinned. He then gently petted the sleeping bird. “I suppose this is the best time to contact my supervisors. They will like him more in this form.”
