H20: Just Add Water [1/3]

My AU/Re-write of H2O because I been meaning to do this since 2022 and havent xD.

CLEO SERTORI

Cleo's a siren, which makes her look a little different than her friends.

She's insecure about her appearance at first, however gets more used to it and proud about her differences.

The reason why she's a siren is due to swallowing some water during the moon-pool transformation (she did not know how to swim).

The magic potion from S2 E5 only works on her/sirens.

She increased her intake of fish, crustaceans and squid in her diet (even as a human) - and reduced her regular human diet.

She wears a swim-top, as during her first transformation she wore one out of panic - and it ended up being apart of her transformation since then.

Whenever she transforms, she has to be the first in the water due to her breathing, or dry up fast.

She is often neck deep in the water to avoid the hassle (or make sure her top's wet) - Rikki also enjoys occasionally (in a teasing manner) submerging Cleo when she forgets to herself.

Abilities: Hydrokinesis [S1], Aerokinesis [S2], Aquatic/Amphibious Respiration (as a siren), Hypnosis (as a siren)

Lewis finds her beautiful, even in her siren form - this is because the man loves her and due to his love of fishing he doesn't find "fish" visually unappealing.

Lewis doesn't get effected during the full moon's siren song, as he already loves her (however Cleo reads this as them being 'just friends').

EMMA GILBERT

Emma's a fast mermaid, swift and elegant.

She gets upset about loosing her chances to be a competitive swimmer, but ends up enjoying being the fastest of the 3/4-5 girls.

When she gets sick in S2 E12 her scales go from blue to silver, and her hair looses its blue streaks.

As a mermaid, (or when under the moon-spell/sick) she increases her intake of fish and crustaceans - however as a human she keeps a regular diet.

Abilities: Hydro-Cryokinesis [S1], Cryokinesis [S2], Ability to hold breath for long (as a mermaid)

RIKKI CHADWICK

Riiki's a shark mermaid.

She enjoys the transformation the most out of all of them, and often find the time to swim/be a "shark".

Her teeth are strong (able to cut through thick materials), and as a human she still retains some strength and sharp fangs.

As a mermaid, (or when under the moon-spell) she increases her intake of fish and crustaceans - however as a human she keeps a regular diet.

Abilities: Hydro-Thermokinesis [S1], Electrokinesis [S2], Pyrokinesis [S2], Ability to hold breath for long (as a mermaid)

Zane finds it cool she's half-shark, and gets temp. disappointed she isn't one after the eclipse.

Zane secretly has a love for aquatic creatures.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SIRENS AND MERMAIDS

Sirens are more fish-like in appearance, compared to Mermaid's still humanoid upper-half.

Mermaids can breath air fine, and have the ability to hold their breaths for long underwater.

Sirens can actually breath underwater, however they can't stay above water long - but they can still breath air a little.

Sirens have the ability to hypnotize when singing (Cleo doesn't use this ability unless she truly needs it, or when being a bit selfish, however during the full moon, she makes full use of it for the wrong reasons - this is how they discover this ability too)

Mermaids gain an ability of the fish they're half-of, Emma gaining faster speed and Rikki gaining a strong bite.

All 3 mermaids are fast, however Cleo and Rikki get tired faster when doing so compared to Emma.

Ms. Chatham and Julia were also mermaids, while Gracie was a siren (which added to her dislike and yearning to be human again).
