The smell was in the air, there was another vampire in town. I had grown used to the smell of Mitchell and Kian, they were like family. But any time another outsider came, I always went to meet them, because I wanted to make sure they were just passing by,not looking to cause any trouble.

I followed his smell to the town square and approached him. -Are you lost? The exit of this town is in the opposite direction.- I said, hoping he could get the hint and leave. I didn’t want any more vampires there.
