What is a #clientbrief ? The requirements as the client sees fit. Also within the financial constraints of the client, which hasn’t happened because of false accounting. https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/career-development/client-brief https://www.instagram.com/p/Cokim-_IlI6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANIMATION OF CONVERSATIONS FROM THE LISTENING PROJECT
- Keep the videos short, don't animate the whole conversation - 30-90 seconds is ideal.
- Don't feel the need to duplicate visually what is in the audio. Add value - extra context, visual jokes etc (However, it’s essential that the jokes are not at the expense of the contributors – while the animations can be humorous, they must be respectful.
- Prioritise the smaller screen - so not too much detail - most of our content is viewed on mobiles and tablets
- Provide the video in 2 formats: - One for iPlayer: 16x9 dimensions
- One for social media: Square video – at least 1080x1080. - The social media version must be captioned – using the largest font size that’s practical, so that they’re readable on a mobile screen. (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro are recommended)
- Action from the first frame – don’t start with credits, a blank screen or introductory material. - No credits on the film. Please supply them on the ‘written account’ (see below). If it’s a team effort, give the jobs of each team member.
- Provide a short written account of why you chose to animate this conversation, what inspired you and what you hoped to achieve. This is where you should include your credits, and details of the university course you were on when you created the film.
- Deliver to following format, together with a JPeg still from your film (Frame size: 1920x1080) which will serve as the marker on the Radio 4 webpage. - Include the end board provided.
- Think about how you can promote this - what sites, sharing sites etc could this be featured on (the video will be published in the BBC player, which can be embedded across different platforms, blogs etc)
-When films have been delivered, if approved for inclusion on The Listening Project website, students are welcome to share the clips on their own profiles, blogs etc - they will be able either to use the clip page link, the share buttons or the embed code from the iPlayer for this.
