Cliff climbing at Arcecibo!!

🇵🇷 One of our main stops was definitely Cueva Del Indio in Arecibo. Elijah, Luke, Adelyn, and I explored the cave where Taino petroglyphs can be seen. There were also bats in the cave and a nest of bees. Being in the cave with the water from the ocean coming in made me think of the scene in “The Rescuers” where Bernard, Bianca and Penny try to retrieve the diamond, the Devil’s Eye, before the rising tide comes into the Black Hole. In Arecibo, there are seven arches and a controversial statue of Christopher Columbus. Surprisingly, it’s taller than the Statue of Liberty. 🌊🌴⛰️

🌊 It’s been another long day of sightseeing. After church in Aguadilla, my mom, myself, and a group of men who signed up for volunteering, started off with a picnic lunch in Isabela. From there, we went through the tunnel and explored the cliffs in Arecibo.
