Funny thing was that Elesa hated surprises. Always giving her unnecessary shockers and having to cut her life span by half. Surprise birthday parties, surprise attacks, all of them. Although, somehow, this one surprise didn't cause the woman to snap and have a heart attack. He ended up being a treasured person in her life, her partner.

What was so strange was that she never expected any of this. She didn't think that she'd be in a strong relationship with someone shorter, younger, childish, and especially someone who keeps the title of Champion of his region. Elesa planned on falling for someone who was tall, mature, normal and caring, but it looks like things won't always goes as planned. That's okay, though. Perhaps the electrifying gym leader can accommodate with this. Haha.

Who, when, where, why... they were all trivial questions that were in no need of answers. Even if she wanted to give a proper response, she couldn't. Not even with her brains, she couldn't even remember how her feelings even began to arise. The rapid beating of her heart, the scarlet red color on her face, her whole body tensing up, they were unnatural for someone like her. Someone who had no real insights of pursuing romance at where she was.

Removing the cheap tea bag from the cup, throwing it out in the garbage can and taking a hold of the boiling cup. Tea was always her favorite beverage. Soothed her muscles and made her skin healthy. Her feet slowly moving one at a time towards the couch of the occupying Hoenn Champion, concentrating mainly on the cup and the liquid that was contained in it, making sure that it wouldn't fall onto the floor. Elesa couldn't afford making a mess, yes?

Settling down on the couch, taking her seat right next to her partner. She let out a small exhale and a soft smile arose on her lips, awaiting patiently for the cup of tea to cool down. However, her smile quickly faded away as she peeked around her surroundings, as if she was a cat searching for their prey, the mouse.
