climp update!

tanks were on sale half off, so i upgraded to a larger tank. im not the biggest fan of the rock placement, so i’ll probably move them later.

i also bought a nerite snail and somehow acquired a bladder snail whos already laid eggs, so soon i’ll have a bladder snail takeover. my nerite’s name is prowler, and my bladder’s name is preston

clint is also pregnant for the fourth time. this fish is killing me.

just one day of co2 and what i believe to be my water onion has already shot to the surface of the water

that was quick

redid clints tank about a week ago and im really happy with how it looks

the plants were starting to slowly deteriorate due to lack of co2, so i made a diy co2 system to revive them. hoping to see some good growth in a month. once they start photosenthesizing the tank should be mostly self sufficient aside from trimming and such

on another note, clints babies are slowly growing and are almost ready for the main tank. the bowl i have them in is completely self sufficient, not a single bit of nitrates or nitrites at all in there thanks to that chunk of biofilm and bacteria elsewhere in the bowl.

once they’re big enough to go in the main tank, i’ll be getting a couple shrimp and quarantining them in the bowl. which will also help reduce the excess of biofilm and clean up the moss a bit
