i started working on this in mid-march in preparation for going to see the canadian production and then i didnt finish until. today. lol. anyway enjoy <3

Recently did some original character intros starting with the main character of my book, Dr. Kala.

A kindhearted brainiac living in a steampunk-like flooded world, humble and selfless to a fault. Kala's also a very tired dad raising a rambunctious girl with too much energy... I'll show her intro soon lol

Kala has definitely been through a lot.......... more on this later

Please meet Honesty Spindle (previously of Spindlewood) when his name was still accurate and he couldn’t help falling in love with every boy, girl, and non-binary person who smiled at him.

The adopted son of a tiefling travelling merchant named Laurel Spindle, he honed his charm on their journeys across the country until they finally settled down in the big city. There, he met Dirt, a young elf thief. Spindle always had a streak of mischief in his blood and so, to help out his father, he worked with her to steal trinkets and odd ends to sell in the shop.

Until, one day, Spindle returned home to find the shop destroyed, Laurel missing, and a strange symbol carved into the wall.

Turns out, the road from shop boy to conman extraordinaire (wanted in several towns under the names Ernest Skulduggery and Sincerity Lysmith) is far shorter than you’d think.

Originally designed as a war machine to fight sea monsters and protect people from terrifying storms, Frank was repurposed into a housekeeper of sorts after Dr. Kala found him collecting dust in the attic. Now, Frank fights stains instead of the horrors of the deep!

It took a lot of effort and trials to learn how to perform finer, more delicate movements, and Frank definitely destroyed things around the house. But hey, he tried and did his best!

I'm planning to make the intro for Mayhem, the little creature you see cuddling with Frank here :D

Dr. Kala's daughter, Vani, who's a loud, energetic (maybe too loud...), and smart inventor-in-training; though, she uses her intelligence more for causing trouble than solving it.

She discovered her love of invention after taking apart her family's kitchen sink and several other things around the house!
