Another update. (first one is here) You'll notice the human part is missing. Sometimes in animation it's easier to start over but the center line has some good movement to be built around. The body is almost a secondary motion because it follows the horse body like a rider. You can see I used some Muybridge captures as reference.
Also I decided to add inbetweens, doubling the number of frames (aka drawings) I have to do. I'm really happy with the front legs but the back have an odd hitch. I'm waiting to see it the body balances it out though before I rework the timing.
For those curious about the process the very rough start of a Stallior walk I did last night night. The horse part is getting there but the rump needs more movement and the human part needs more back and forth as a whole.
