hate to break it to you but luffy is one of the worst people to text! it’s not that he doesn’t want to text you, but he can never pay attention to his screen long enough to reply! he’s much better at face-to-fav conversations!

kid is a horny texter. constantly thirsting and flirting, always redirecting the conversation in a very suggestive manner.

shanks only ever replies to ONE of the three messages/questions you ask him. seriously, it’s like he’s physically incapable of focusing on more than one conversation topic at a time.

🌸what makes them blush?

on the rare chance you have to talk to luffy alone, if you were to tell him that you wholeheartedly believe in him and his dream and want to be with him every step of the way, he’ll blush and get all giddy. sure, he knows he’s going to be pirate king (it is going to happen), but there’s something different when you of all people say it so ‘matter-of-factly’.

getting kid to blush is really difficult. he’s not exactly one for being flustered or caught off guard, but if there was one thing it would probably be when you look at him first thing in the morning with with your sleepy eyes. there’s just something about that look that makes his cheeks heat up a little.

catch shanks off guard with some witty comeback to his flirting and teasing and you’ll leave him a little speechless. the blush and his flustered state lasts a mere few seconds before being replacing by his cheeky grin, but it’s still there!!

☀️what are they like in the morning?

one second luffy is fast asleep, and then next thing you know he’s bouncing around. it’s very zero to a hundred. he doesn’t take his time to wake up, or lie in bed for a little first - he springs straight to the kitchen!

you need to be careful to not wake kid up. if anyone other than you or himself (and maybe killer) wakes him up he will be so grumpy. seriously. do not wake kid up. you will regret it.

shanks is an absolute child in the morning. he refuses to get up and practically clings to you like a koala.
