Your steve rogers tag. It hit me in the guts. Endgame is the reason i divorced marvel. Their horrible horrible end for Steve is the day i realized they hired some of the biggest idiots in the industry. He should have died. But they had to go and give Iron Man points fir being selfless because hed been such a dick until then. Sorry for ranting. As you can tell im still bitter.

I'm glad tony died but i actually do think the way he died was fitting. I don't think Steve dying would've been a good ending for his arc, but I would've preferred it to the ending we got.

steve, who lived his life in complete selflessness, deserved to have a happy ending for himself. THIS DOESN'T MEAN REMOVING PEGGY'S CHOICES THAT SHE ALREADY MADE FOR HERSELF. It should've meant that he hung up the shield for good and finally got to move on from the past and make up for the time lost with his best friends. Especially Bucky, for whom he worked so hard to bring back. Especially because his whole entire arc had been building up to him LETTING GO OF THE PAST AND "WHAT COULD'VE BEEN"

Asking for your OC. Would you please introduce your favorite?

My favourite Star Wars oc is definitely Mae Eppa.

She's one of my more complex characters, who's spent her entire life trying to get out of one difficult situation after another, and who's basically a self-made successful lady in her own right.

Mae is both street-smart, emotionally intelligent, and capable of holding her own in a fight. She's both an engineer, mechanic and a droids expert (although takes more pride in the whole droids expert thing she has going on) and proud of her skills as all three. She's a little awkward and doesn't understand a few social-cues due to having been raised by a droid. Her humour's quite flat, often a little dark, and she can come off as abrasive or downright rude on a first impression.

Despite her more tomboyish lifestyle, she's incredibly in tune with her feminine side and enjoys prettying herself up on occasion. She's a mom friend, an actual mom as well, and is always looking out for others despite her whole "looking out for number one" attitude. She's been busting her butt trying to smuggle clones out of Imperial control, which is a testament of her absolute loyalty towards the friends she made during the clone wars.

I think that summarises her pretty nicely.

Idk if you've read The Clone Wars:Wild Space. Its an insanely fun read, and the story focuses on Kenobi and Bail. I had the time of my life reading it. And if you haven't read it, please give it a try. It gives you more insight into Bail.

Bail and Breha Organa deserve *all* the love. I always have the hardest time when I come across Papa Bear Vader content with Leia, because what about Actual Bestest Dad Bail Organa?

I have read it, yeah! I really liked it at the time, but now it's too fanfic-y for my tastes xD the whump galore and the characterization feel too self-indulgent at time, not to mention I don't feel like movie/TCW!Bail and movie/TCW!Obi-Wan would have to go through literal Hell together to start getting along. It's still a fun book though!

this isn't really like a HASHTAG HUNGER GAMES CANCELLED!! thing its just more how i feel abt it. when it was getting popular i was one of those kids whose parents did not let read the books or watch the movies (i still have chosen not to read/watch it so take what i say w a grain of salt if i'm off-point). not because of any violence, but bc my parents saw ahead of the curve that this was going to lead to the fandomization of what was essentially a story about child soldiers. Some might call this a little dramatic but as I grew older i understood better bc my parents have a close personal friend who has pretty much dedicated their entire lives to building communities for women and children refugees. Very real people who have been severely traumatized by their experiences. What they've been through is terrible, how they were abused and mistreated, some children being forced at gunpoint to shoot their own parents. So I get why my parents found it a little appalling that someone would write a story abt child soldiers and throw in some fun little love triangles and bright costumes. My parents also understood that the author was probably trying to bring awareness to the issue of child soldiers, but then why would the movies be abt a bunch of pretty white teens?

so i really DON'T think that ppl are problematic for enjoying hunger games, but I guess take into consideration why some ppl wouldn't like it based on this viewpoint.

as for jlaw, i haven't liked her ever since she boasted abt this story on Graham Norton abt the time she blatantly disregarded local Hawaiians' request to NOT sit on their sacred rocks and instead used them to scratch her butt. It ended up dislodging a boulder that rolled down the hill and destroyed a station on-set and almost killed a sound person on their crew. She tried to play off the Hawaiians' horror by saying "oops guess i'm your curse!" but even as she was telling this story, CRISP RATT OF ALL PEOPLE is sitting there with this expression of "why would you do this"

she apologized afterwards but you can tell bc of clips like this that she doesn't really mean it. She really thinks "well *I* thought it was funny"

I think Boba and Din should have a full-on fight scene. Not like where they're actually trying to kill each other but like. Maybe Din is super frustrated with all the Space Drama so Boba drags him down to spar to clear his head. Even tho it's just sparring, it's very intense and emotional and maybe one of them unintentionally pushes too hard bc of the high-stress or whatever. bestie fight that gets messy.

like i don't want anything that causes an actual rift I just think we should get the chance to see who would win in a fight.

Your tag on the post that had pictures of earth from other planets… it’s view from Mars really is insane right????????? To imagine that earth can be seen all bright and blue with its swirling clouds!!! And that Mars is still so far away that the distance between it and earth makes it uninhabitable! And that it’s so far that we haven’t yet reached that day where we may step foot on it! But because I was a bit weirded out by how it could be true, in reality it’s an image of what the earth would look like from Mars if you used a telescope! The one below is from a satellite orbiting Mars.

From the surface of the earth though, this is what the Mars would look like instead.

I know you didn’t ask but I was so taken by the post too, and just thought I’d let you in on what I found out :)

OH THAT'S SO COOL!!!! I did figure that one image was probably taken by a telescope cause it seemed to have similar detail to times I've seen Mars through a telescope, which makes me have so many thoughts about the connections between these two planets hakdhskdj all of what you said is exactly what's going through my mind!! literally I'm just 🤝🤝 🤝 thank you so much for sharing!!! :D
