The last mission Senna went on didn't exactly go in her favor. It's sort of hard to take down a super-powered robot that has the same ability to absorb meta-genes and duplicate them, like Senna. Her team was depending on her. She could hold it off long enough to let them figure out a way to take it down; a kink in its armor. But she wasn't strong enough. She was human, not machine. She had her physical limits... and within the first few minutes, Sneak was slammed against a building, out cold.
She couldn't remember much more... glimpses of a dark room, machines, people looking down at her. She had no idea what was even going on. When she woke, Senna felt like she had been hit by a truck. She could tell from the light headed feeling she had that she had ejected all of the abilities she had taken on while fighting the robot, but one movement of her hand, and she knew that her skin meta remained.
Opening her eyes, Senna immediately gasped as she saw her surroundings. White walls, bright lights, machines. Was she in a hospital? She looked at the door that lead into her room, noticing a decal on the window. This was no hospital... this was Cadmus. Senna shot up, ripping the IV from her arm and wincing as she felt the syringe leaving her vein. She let her jaw drop. How long had she been here if they were able to figure out how to pierce her skin? Was she that weak? She didn't spend much time thinking about it as she ran, grabbing her clothes and pulling them on.
The escape was almost too easy. She was out on the streets within a matter of minutes. Perhaps Bruce had sent her there for treatment? Knowing that her meta-gene would make it almost impossible for a regular hospital to treat? She doubted that. The Bat didn't trust Cadmus. No one did. Senna arrived back at the Clock Tower as soon as she could. Looking at one of the computer screens at Barbara's desk, Senna inquired that she had been gone for only two days. At least it wasn't longer.
She swallowed, tip toeing into her room, but Oracle was smarter than that. "Nope... Bruce want's you checked head-to-toe... No repeats of the Red Arrow situation..."
Senna sighed and nodded, heading to the back room where Barbara kept the medical equipment She hated this room. Full of creepy machines and even creepier charts. Senna was instructed to lay down on a metal bed that moved into a cat-scan looking device. She kept still as the machine roared to life and began it's scan. "I'm going to the cellular level... so... it might burn a little."
"Fantastic." Senna muttered, waiting for Barbara to finish. She winced and hissed as the tests were ran, but eventually, the table moved from the machine and Senna was given the results.
"Well... you're not a clone... or... dangerous... It's... well..."
"Give it to me straight, Babs... I don't like you're tone." Senna, frowned a little, terrified of what she was about to say.
"They... now I know your life pretty well... and I know you haven't slept with anyone..."
"They got you pregnant Senna... The fetus is about 3 weeks in gestation. They accelerated it's growth, obviously..."
Her jaw dropped as her hands clenched the table she was sitting on. "Not funny..."
"I'm not joking." Babara pointed at the screen and pointed to Senna's abdomen. "There. You can see the fetus."
Senna shook her head as her eyes widened and teared. "N-no... this... no... I...."
"I think we're going to need our own Cadmus expert for this one..." Oracle sighed, tapping her ear piece. "Roy... Can you come to Clock Tower."
