tick, tick, tick, the clocked chimed in her ear, as her shift dragged on. It was nearly the end or her work day and she couldn’t wait to get off and see Travis. As the last minute of her shift passed she practically took off in a sprint, grabbing her bag on her way out the back door of the bakery. Her breath started catching in her chest, and the blonde realised she was in no shape to run. Instead she slowed to a walk and pulled out her cigarettes, it was a bad habit she had picked up shortly after leaving home. It seemed a better choice to calm her nerves rather than alcohol. Pulling out her phone she sent him a quick text to let him know she was coming over, [TEXT: Be there in 5.] She quickly shoved it back into her pocket and pulled on her smoke once again. She couldn’t believe how lucky she had been to have met Travis, and for him to have liked her enough to give her a chance and not only that but stick around. She stopped in front of his house, throwing her cigarette to the ground and stepping on it to put it out. A smile spread across her face as she walked up to the door and knocked loudly. Penelope took a step back from the door and waited for someone to come answer.
