“How long has it been since we simply just walked together, hmm? It’s nice.” she commented, arm linked through Luca’s as they gently strolled past the stores and businesses in the process of dying down as the sun slowly began it’s descent into the evening. “Did you want to have dinner at Mama’s tonight or come to the restaurant?” she added, turning her head to look at him.

“How am I supposed to sit here sober and watch everyone go to the kissing booth?” She was still bitter about the fact that her ex happened to be working at it, but Mavi didn’t want people to smell the weed coming off of her so she had decided to go to this shindig sober. Part of her wished she didn’t. “C’mon. Get my mind off of it. Dance with me or something.” She said, glancing over at her best friend. “Please.” The desperation in her voice made it evident that she still had feelings for the girl, and she tried to push it down.
