Okay the School for Good and Evil movie is actually not bad. As someone who loved the books back in the day (they were my Harry Potter) there’s definitely a lot I would have liked them to do better, and they change a lot of the stuff I liked, but…
Like with a lot of adaptations, I think if you just take it as its own work without constantly comparing it to the source, it stands up pretty well. It’s entertaining, some parts had us cheering.
