Another fun #AnimalFact for #InternationalCloudedLeopardDay. Let’s talk camouflage, shall we? Many species lack the receptor cells that pick up shades of green. Therefore the brain perceives greens as gray. The first photo shows the side of a clouded leopard as it was moving through some green underbrush. The second photo is the same picture, with saturation removed. This is probably not 100% accurate to what it looks like to some species...
