Shower-thought crack post:
Does anyone remember the moon coded LWJ bit that was going around for a while?
May I ask why no one has made a bigger deal of his cloud coding? Are clouds not also a celestial phenomenon capable of capturing human fascination? Who among us has not lain in the grass to find bunnies in the fluffy white swirls dotting the blue sky?
Okay, now to make the case:
- Clouds protect the sun and prevent the world from shriveling into desert
- When the sun is gone, clouds cry, sometimes for extended periods of time
- Clouds will do their job regardless of the season or the sun's presence (i.e. clouds exist at night)
- Without the sun's light, highlighting the contours and shapes of the clouds, we wouldn't be able to find the many shapes within
- Clouds are quiet
- Clouds are a constant reassuring presence
- Clouds do not give a damn what people have to say about the sun, because they are happy to play with it in the sky
- The sun leaves its imprint on the clouds, even on the gloomiest of days
