HI iknow its been a while but arirang has singlehandedly pulled me out of a spiraling hole, ive been wanting to edit videos and add more ideas to WIPs… lets see how long i got this until college rips the rug from under me

do you have any favorite writers on tumblr that you can recommend?

@personasintro — love love love her ideas and thought processes of her characters and circumstances. like she can take the most basic concept or trope and add such an engaging story that its got you on the edge of ur seat the entire time. mimi is one of the reasons i got back into writing after years of ignoring my notes app

@alphabetboyluvr — an actual MASTER at her craft like her writing is LITERAL poetry shes so gooood like the wordplay and everything. there are lines that i read and just gasp at bc of how smart and poetic they are like im not even joking. and not to mention holly is such a sweetheart! <3

@hamsterclaw — very distinct writing style and very very simple yet easy to envision and just as easy to read. usually writes one-shots so ive skimmed through the masterlist and read almost everything cus its so quick and refreshing to read !

@ugh-yoongi — another poet and just an incredible writer, really has you feeling for the characters and imagining everything the story is describing and telling you. so easy to feel like you’re actually in the stories

@jiminrings — no one and i mean NO ONE does angst like this author right here like im not even joking if you love angst you haaaaave to binge this author’s works like an actual sick genius right here. one of the first authors i found on this account and they’ve inspired my own works so much. banger after banger

@jknoah — such interesting concepts not to mention so fun to read and makes u think abt the story cus noah likes to tease with flashbacks n lore n just swinging you into the story headfirst ANDDD i just love noah like thats my bae.

i actually havent stopped listening to arirang since it came out 😭😭😭 just a masterpiece, so many big time producers as well and just a bunch of different sounds like bts has always done,, ill never understand the “they changed” angle !

Any plans to drop anything soon?

i do have a few wips, just cant really give it a date. iactually reread a few of my works last night for the first time in forever and im shocked at how much i feel like ive changed in my writing/creativity. it was so hard not to edit them! realizing i should be putting that energy and desire to write into just writing. the writers block is massive and school and a few other things, that ill get into later if yall are interested, aren’t making things much better

but no i have not forgotten about this account and i still want to write! but i’ll have to just plan everything so it aligns and i can do it the way i intended to without feeling limited or like im forcing it. sorry for the wait guys

today is 6th of january, 2024 and i just took my first exam of the semester today i feel nauseous</3

i just wanted to swing by and update everyone on how it’s been and wish everyone a happy new year. 🤍

first off, i want everyone to know that i really, really appreciate your support. thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. sincerely<3

that aside, as 2023 was coming to a close, i turned off my tumblr notifications because my phone wouldn’t stop buzzing and i was trying not to get distracted from school. (so no, im not ignoring yall !!)

but let’s talk about 2024.

i’m going to be honest to y’all.

2024 was terrible. it was a really, really shitty year for me. a lot of things happened and writing just kept slipping out of my fingertips. yall felt the 2024 drought from me and for that i’m so sorry omg. (my acc was dry as hell and i still gained like 1k+ followers yall r insane thank u sm😭)

everything that could go wrong WENT wrong. like damn i got my ass whooped this year!!! that topped off with school made it really hard to even stay afloat, let alone write

plus i kind of underestimated these classes🫠🫠 like i knew it was gonna be a lot but i didn’t know it would set me back this much. yes i’m stoopid

on the bright side, 2024 changed me as a person SO i’m rlly excited to see how i’ll write and how i’ll express myself differently than i have in the past

as of 2025:

currently i’m going through exams and it’s eating me up but when i’m finally through with these, i really wanna write more. i wanna show y’all what more i have in store and i’m far from being done !!

that being said, i have a few wips in the drafts still, some i have been giving small updates and some i haven’t even touched since first writing them. (currently, 2 ongoing commissions & jimin’s the pink pill version.)

plus… bts year??? like i’m gonna be honest, bts being ‘inactive’ was also so rough on me because i’ve always had them and now it just felt idk. different? stressful? especially stepping into a new life after i decided to go to college at 23. i miss them😭

so, i hope you’re excited like me !! i can’t wait to be back ! not saying im fully back steady on my feet but i wanna try to make a schedule for my daily life and try to fit in writing as much as i want🥲 does anyone know any cute like agenda or calendar apps for that?? lmk plsss
