The episode starts at night at the Moonlight Office (that warehouse where WM practiced in season 2) Magic Blood (Yurika and Kaede) are working in the kitchen with Yurika refusing to cut any garlic. Kaede stirs the stew as she slips in some intense spices. Yurika twirls her cape and leaves to find WM in the small outdoor garden. Mikuru is showing Mizuki the flowers Hotaru Moroboshi brought her. Yurika watches as Mizuki’s gaze never leaves the flowers Mikuru took care of. “Supper’s almost ready. Also, Kaede and I better be getting beds. A coffin, to be specific.”
“You’ll be well taken as long as you stay with us.” Mizuki responds. “We have to train if we want to keep up as modern idols.”
“Relax Mizuki. We moved here to avoid the noisy world outside. Here we can just sit among the flowers all day.” Mikuru adds.
“No we can’t,” Kaede interrupts as she takes off her apron, “ I still have to work as Dynamo. Whatever this is, I still need to get back to work.”
Mizuki stares off at the moon, “I’ve worked with the three of you before. I know you can work hard despite this.” The four girls sit down to eat. As the meal begins Mizuki says that she’s noticed something strange about the Aikatsu Passes.”. Yurika gasps as Kaede smiles with excitement. “Take a look at your Aikatsu Pass. You might not have noticed it but there’s a small change. In the corner, you’ll notice a small star.”
“When did this-” Yurika cries. Mikuru takes over.
“Everyone who Raki has interacted seems to have this change. It seems like we’ve been chosen for something. Mizuki thought that we should help each other train…and though she won’t admit it, she misses you.” Mizuki blushes and the meal continues. Twilight Etranger plays(new opening)
The following day, Raki is trying to sleep through a string of unanswered phone calls. She tosses the Aikatsu Phone away but someone catches it. Raki turns to see Saya in her room. “It’s about time you showed up!” Raki says. Say simply smiles and answers the call.
“Hello. Saya Kiseki speaking. No, Raki is unavailable. I’m afraid I’m responsible for that.” She ends the call. “Raki, have you looked at your Aikatsu Pass recently?” Raki reluctantly leaves bed to rummage through her bag. She picks out the Pass and notices the star.
“What? Saya what’s this star for?” Raki notices that Saya is gone. She heads out to meet Wakaba. They talk about the passes but pay it no mind. Clover Ring practices on the trampoline for a friend appeal. Their jumps are poorly timed and while they can both pull off appeals individually, they can’t do one together. After working up a sweat, Reflect Moon shows up asking to use the room. Kaguya notices how tired they are and says she hopes it worked out.
“Unlucky. We can’t do a Friends appeal.” Raki sighs. Wakaba looks as discouraged as her. Reflect Moon suggests that they two should take a break from training. “But we can’t afford to hold back.” Wakaba nods furiously.
“Kaguya and I saw this coming,” Sakuya says, “With a whole new host of idols, rookies have more competition than before. I don’t envy you two but I can say your bond will be tested.” Clover Ring walks out in silence. The scene cuts to black
Outside we spot Clover Ring watching their first and only live together. “Every time I see it I feel worse, we’re such rookies.” Wakaba says. She turns to Raki whose eyes haven’t left the screen.
“But we look so happy.” Raki adds. As soon as the live ends she restarts it. Wakaba looks away as she puts the phone down.
“Are you really still designing, even after we formed a Friends?”
“Of course, I still haven’t made a PR!”
“Well, maybe it’s taking your focus away! I know designing means a lot to you but are we going to make it if your focus is divided?”
Raki takes a pause. For a moment, her eyes tear up but she cheers up quickly. “I know someone who can help us do this! And they’re right here!” Raki takes Wakaba’s hand and rushes off to Ema’s class. “Ema! Please teach us how you do it!”
Ema nods quietly after hearing the problem out. “I had a similar problem with Maika.” She takes Wakaba’s hand. “I understand how you feel. Raki’s got a lot more in her than you think and so do you! Despite being a well-known lacrosse player, I can still put on a stage like any other idol.”
“Thank you for your advice.” Wakaba yanks her hand out of Ema’s grip.
“Well, why don’t I show you?”Ema stands and stares into Wakaba’s eyes.
“Wait! What’s happening here?” Raki asks.
“I’ll beat you with your own cards.” Wakaba declares. The whole class is in shock. As Wakaba says this her hand trembles and Raki notices it.
“Could she be doing this for me?”Raki thinks to herself.
Ema and Wakaba place their Aikatsu Passes on the machine and a rainbow star shaped halo appears. Ema uses her Shakin Party Coord. “I had a feeling you would use those,” Wakaba says. She reveals that she picked out the Red Retro Sport Coord(Seen in the first pic). Ema and Wakaba appear on stage as they perform Okay –Period- Ema performs Premium Colorful Shot early into the performance and activates her aura overshadowing Wakaba. As the chorus kicks in Ema’s aura decreases in size as Wakaba’s emerges. She performs Colorful Shot as the song reaches its guitar riff. The crowd cheers as Ema and Wakaba walk backstage. Wakaba droops in shame, “I lost, didn’t I?” Ema steps forward,
“No. Now you know how hard Raki works and Raki knows how hard you work for your Friends too.” Ema leaves and we end with Honey Cat making bead bracelets with Raki and Wakaba.
