Diane...11:30 AM, February 24th. Entering the town of TWIN PEAKS...
this town was so cool!! There were so many little details and I was fangirling so hard over all of it :D Thanks for the cherry pie, coffee, and creamed corn ~
// orchid was one of the prettiest towns i’ve ever been in :)) i love how every single area was thought-through and photo-ready, and nothing felt too cluttered!! tysm for continuing to update this lovely town! //
Having stayed up late watching horror videos on youtube Credence fell asleep at the kotatsu again and woke up... somewhere interesting. Jump the cut to see our reference laden trip through @clovoid ‘s town of Peaks A homage to the cult classic Twin Peaks.
Credence hiked up the road from the bus stop in the middle of nowhere to find a diner he didn’t much recognize. Outside one of the waitresses on break, a very pretty lady named Norma, recommended he try the cherry pie.
Credence isn’t a terrible fan of cherries in particular but he took the suggestion anyway.
This is the best cherry pie in the entire universe or maybe a few universes, heaven’s above! What’s the name of this little diner? Oh! the RR. Hu, I wonder why that’s so familiar.
I’ll be honest, Credence kind of got lost at this point in a euphoric dream pie induced daze. He got to see the very fancy peaks the town gets it’s name from and also met a girl with some killer fashion sense in a swank retreat style hotel.
But no seriously what shade is that lipstick, hook a brother up Audrey.
Sure do have a hella bad feeling about this. What’s that weird lodge to the north?
Mistakes have clearly been made. Hey maybe lets just, um. Go back the heck outside.
Time to nope right out on this spectacular festival of let’s not.
Despite being clearly traumatized, when encountering an FBI agent in the wild, Credence like every barista whose shop is literally a block away from a police station, instinctively knew where to procure coffee for him in exchange for safety. (He got it off the ground, shh.)
Thanks Coop.
Having found safe haven in the station Credence chattered with the bird and ate a few donuts to recover from his ordeal. Unfortunately they were dream donuts, and as such are not actually very good at aiding recovery.
[I highly recommend you check out the Peaks dream yourself, it was very well done, had an amazing autumnal theme, and if you’re a fan of the TV show you’ll get a kick out of it I’m sure!
here’s some pics from my new town turnip! hope you like it!
ps: sadly, this is gonna be my last post. I’m kinda over this blog and looking at it makes me cringe. however! I decided that I wanted to start over again, with a clean, pretty, 100% percent animal crossing blog! (yes, you heard it, 100%!!!) my new blog is frog-crossing.tumblr.com if you wanna follow me! also, since the start of this blog, I’ve matured a lot and gone through a lot. at the start, I was overly excited, cringy, and just overall ew. (fyi I was 13 lol) Now, I’m 14, (wow big dif), but I’ve really become a better me, and a lot less of what I didn’t want to be. so yeah. one thing I do wanna make clear is that I still loved doing this blog and all the wonderful people I got to meet and collaborate through it! I’ll tag all the peeps I had the joy of meeting
10/365, Orchid by @clovoid This town was so precious, I wanted to cry. The flower combinations/placements were perfect and the overall feel of the town was so cute!
