🌴 what circumstances make you feel most at home with your gender? e.g. carrying heavy things for someone, putting on a new lipstick, being alone in the outdoors, sitting in a cafe, etc

stealing casper’s answer it’s talking to other nb/trans ppl. but especially talking to other femmes!!! ummm also i love big sweaters/cardigans. nothing more gender than big cardigan. also being alone in public places wearing big cardigan/sweater. thinking about the time i wore a giant sweater no one picked up from the lost and found in my dad’s office for six months so it was mine (it’s this giant like colorblocked knit 80s thing) and then highwaisted jeans and i walked around this town in new england and i went to museums and i wrote poetry on a park bench and i got hot chocolate. and like no one knew who i was i could be anyone. also trains for this purpose again.

omg it’s so funny to see you post about the magicians bc my 1st year of college we had a “freshman theme” of magic and so they had everyone read the magicians book & at orientation we had a panel to discuss the book which basically ended up being an hour long roast session lmao like they WENT IN and even after that they invited the author to do a talk and do some events with English majors and the whole time I was just like. you are SO bald. this is irrelevant but I felt like sharing djsjdhsjk

i want to know the thought process behind the idea of like. oh our english majors ripped this book to shreds. we should invite the author to our school.
