She drank spoiled milk no effect, outdated soup no effect and then she survived on her own body fluids until she got sick of the taste. Next came the lesser poisons beer, wine, vodka, even 100 year old whiskey. She drank them all until she passed out and woke up again with a pounding headache and queasy stomach. Finally the actual poisons came in hemlock, nightshade and cyanide they all came out to test her abilities one-by-one and down the hatch they went. Cyanide was first after all the it seemed the most likely to succeed she mixed with whiskey at least then she would enjoy it going. Drinking it in all in one big gulp she gasped at the burning sensation that ran down her throat knowing it wasn't just from the alcohol made it all the more enjoyable. Within a couple minutes she fell from her chair and the glass fell to the ground her grip on it breaking. Laying on the floor She gasped for breath and then laying there died. 15 minutes later she bolts up gasping for breath scrambling at her throat clearing away an invisible blockage coming down she looked around and cursed under her breath. Next came the hemlock it seemed too easy to be too easy she eyes the hand full of seeds then she them in her mouth and started chewing on them until she was able to swallowed an hour later she looked in the mirror noticing her start to dilate and went to lay down in her bed this time dying with nothing dramatic happening. However half an hour later she opened her eyes she took a deep Long breath and screamed for about 2 seconds before clamping her mouth shut she swung her legs off her bed and barged into her living room grabbing her coat and purse off the rack by the door before going outside. Her fury burned within her how dare these literal poisons not kill her! The stars were shining brightly out everywhere she could see shadows every where. However it was a hair too late when she noticed a shadow that was getting just a little bit too close. She started forward her foot scrambling for purchase on the gravel in her driveway when a sharp pain head or neck almost like she had been bit she stood there almost like she was paralyzed as a figure seems to come closer. She realized how close she was to death she wanted to scream but that urge stopped as soon as it started when she felt hands on her shoulder "well my dear I've been watching you for a while I was beginning to wonder when you would ever come outside again" a chuckle in her ears had her shuddering like no tomorrow this is not how she wanted to die! she wanted to be by her own hands the creature laughed again it's breath tickling her neck "you are one of a kind did you know that?! Your a delicious poisonous delight" tears started pouring down her face and the creature sighed in sympathy "don't worry dear I know you wanted to do it yourself but I fear I must end it for you. Don't worry I'll make it quick." The last word was a whisper of promise that she never got to make sure came true.
