Revisit: Clyde May's Conecuh Ridge Alabama Style Whiskey
I tried this at Whiskies of the World and really liked it. It stood up to a revisit. Crisp, tart green apple along with brown sugar and vanilla and sweet-not-spicy cinnamon. Almost like dessert but not cloying or even really that sweet. I like it better without ice than with.
Belle Meade Straight Bourbon Whiskey
This has a hell of a nose on it. It smells like it'll scorch on the way down and for a while after but it is so very very smooth, distractingly smooth. Very rich. Nearly no bite to it. Upon the addition of ice, it opens up and lives up to its nose, turning into a super spicy sinus clearer.
