Choices
To say she was lost would be the understatement of the year. She knew she was lost. Afterall, in all her travels through the years, she never remembered seeing a castle like that, or a church beside it. But the church caught her attention. Sure, there were churches where she came from, but this one mentioned the goddess Martel on it. Briefly, she wondered if this Martel was like the one from her own time.
Regardless, since she was the foreigner to this land, it was her responsibility to pay proper respects. Casting one last glance at the castle, she made her way to the church. Afterall, gods were more important than royalty, right? She'd pay proper respect to the king or queen of this land later.
Reaching for the handle to open the door, she was startled when it shifted on it's own and the door swung open, revealing the man with reddest hair she'd ever seen before.
"Oh, um, pardon my intrusion," she stated, offering a slight curtsy. "I came to offer my respects."
