We did the Coldest Night of the Year walk this weekend and our local shelter and transitional housing org exceeded their fundraising goal by $5k, for a little over $70k total. And it looks like Canada is going to hit the $15m goal by the end of the month:

It's COLD out there! 🥶🥶🥶 Right about now most of us are sick of this weather, and the countdown is on for those warmer days. I'm personally fortunate enough to have warm clothes, yummy food to keep me nourished, and a cozy apartment to keep me safe, and out of the cold. Not all of us happen to have those minimal luxuries. SOOO... This Saturday (Feb. 20, 2021) my friend @jdmoore09 and I will participating in the Coldest Night Of The Year walk! This is an annual event to raise money for charities serving people experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger. The money our lil' twosome of a team raises will go to "Out Of The Cold" (a local homeless shelter in Alliston, Ontario).
